Armando Salguero has covered the Dolphins since 1990, first as a beat writer and now as a columnist and blogger for the Miami Herald. Hes covered Don Shula, Jimmy Johnson, Dave Wannstedt, Jim Bates, Nick Saban, Cam Cameron, and now Tony Sparano. A veteran of South Florida radio since 1990, he co-hosts Armando and the Amigo every weekday 6-10 a.m. on 640 Sports. He also spent two years as a national television reporter for ESPN.
Chris Perkins is the newest member of the 640 Sports team joining Armando & the Amigo. Perkins has covered sports in South Florida for the last 14 years. He currently covers the Miami Heat, Miami Dolphins and the University of Miami for Fox Sports Florida. Prior to that, he covered the Miami Dolphins and the University of Miami for the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. Before moving to South Florida, Perkins spent seven years at the Dallas Morning News and three years at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
